About Resize Image

Changing an image's dimensions is the most effective way to cut its weight, because file size scales with the number of pixels. A photograph displayed 800 pixels wide gains nothing from being 4000 pixels wide.

How to use it

1. Upload the image.
2. Enter the width or height you need.
3. Download the resized image.

Worth knowing

Scaling down is safe; scaling up is not, since the extra pixels are invented from the ones already there and detail cannot be recovered. Keep the aspect ratio locked unless distortion is deliberate.
